Lia told me it was an unusually important, personal painting, hung in her studio to support her. It was a kind of silence that whispers a thousand things at once. How do you ask about buying a painting after something like that? I am deeply grateful that she trusted me and let this painting teach me deeper looking. So far it is going quite well.
